I finally figured out why Microsoft Word wasn't opening on my laptop and your guide fixed the problem completely. then i stumbled upon your solution and it worked great. For some reason it stopped working so I had the bright idea of uninstalling it then reinstalling it. Therefore, After a third CleanC2R, I now click Cancel when the update window appears, and I have been trouble free since.

I could not uninstall C2R. Stephenie, Looks like the links were taken down due to a DMCA request. When opening the document, the window says ‘Processing…' and my download notification on the task bar says that Office is ‘downloading items and that the program may appear to be unresponsive.' I find that too often my customers are fooled by previous techs into overthinking their maintenance of Windows.
