- Went ahead and did what Joseph said (and ONLY that) with his quick, four-step process and got SP1 installed and working.
- Just unplugged the power from the OSX disk and everything installed fine.
- One MUST have automount disabled in WIndows so that these VMFS LUNS don't get initialized by Windows.
- sudo cp /etc/default/grub /etc/default/grub.bak Then edit the file using vim or the text editor of your choice.
- If you go to Windows disk partitioning tool, the system reserved partition will be "active" and SP1 will install.
- When I hit Shift+F10 to drop to a command prompt and check the Setup log files, there were repeated errors saying "The selected disk is not the computer's boot disk." I

I fixed it mostly by myself by rebuilding the BCD. Joseph, does SP1 support this kind of setup?
